ARE THE SEMINARS FREE?

Yes! There is no cost or obligation. We present these seminars simply to encourage everyone to read and consider the Bible for themselves.

WHAT IS THE TIME ZONE FOR THE SEMINARS?

These seminars are in New Zealand time. There is a similar series also being run from South Australia. You can check their session times here: https://www.readinglight.com.au/

DO I NEED ANY PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OR BELIEF TO JOIN?

No. These seminars are designed for beginners and are about learning and exploring the Bible for yourself. We have found that more experienced readers also get a lot out of these seminars.

HOW LONG WILL THE SEMINARS BE?​​

Each seminar will be approximately 30 - 45 minutes, including time for questions and discussion.

WHEN ARE THE SEMINARS BEING HELD?

The next series, Bible Study Made Easy, begins on Sunday 1st June and runs for 5 weeks. There are six different session times you can choose from each week: Sundays 7pm, Mondays 7.30pm, Tuesdays 8pm, Wednesdays 7pm, Thursdays 7pm, or Fridays 7pm.

CAN I JOIN DIFFERENT SESSIONS EACH WEEK?

Yes. Each session is presented by a different pair of volunteers so will vary a little. You are free to attend as many or as few sessions as you can over the 5 weeks.

HOW DO I LOG INTO ZOOM?

Simply click the zoom link at your chosen session time each week. Register to have the the link emailed directly to you, or you can find the link and session times on the 'Weekly Sessions' page. Please note that the link will only work at the seminar session times.

WILL I HAVE TO TALK OR BE SEEN ON ZOOM?

No. You can keep your camera and microphone turned off and just listen in. There is an option to ask questions anonymously via a chat type function during the seminars.​

WILL SESSIONS BE RECORDED?

Yes. Recordings will be made available afterwards. Register to be notified when these are available.​​​

WHO IS RUNNING THE SEMINARS?

The seminars are being run by Christadelphians throughout New Zealand because we are passionate about helping as many people as possible to read the Bible for themselves. See the About page for more about us.

THE SEMINARS ARE FINISHED, NOW WHAT?

Keep going! Getting to know the Bible takes time and patience. However, by more actively studying your Bible using some of the techniques from these seminars we hope you will gain motivation from the new things you will notice.
